Trump Gives New Orders After ‘Thugs’ Attack ICE Agents

President Trump watched in disbelief as ICE agents were ambushed by violent protesters. What he said next sent shockwaves through the nation.

President Donald Trump has issued sweeping new orders granting “total authorization” to federal immigration officers following a violent attack on ICE agents during a California cannabis raid.

In a fiery statement on Truth Social, Trump described how agents were ambushed by “THUGS” hurling rocks and bricks while officers were moving in their vehicle.

“I am giving Total Authorization for ICE to protect itself, just like they protect the Public,” Trump declared.

He added that law enforcement has the green light to stop their vehicles and arrest attackers by any means necessary, marking a drastic shift in enforcement strategy.

Chaos in California
The clashes erupted during a July 10 raid at an illegal marijuana grow site, where over 360 illegal aliens were detained, and 14 migrant children were rescued. Protesters numbering around 500 tried to block the operation.

One ICE Public Affairs agent was injured after being struck by a rock. DHS claims Rep. Salud Carbajal (D-CA) incited the crowd by exposing the agent’s identity — an act now under heavy scrutiny.

“Carbajal’s actions sent an ICE employee to the ER,” DHS said in a statement, branding them “downright un-American.”

Legal Showdown Brewing
The event sparked outrage at the federal level, prompting Trump to dispatch 4,000 National Guard troops and 700 Marines to Los Angeles — actions Governor Gavin Newsom called “federal overreach.”

Meanwhile, ICE continues ramping up efforts across Southern California under Trump’s directive to carry out the largest mass deportation campaign in U.S. history.

The Fallout
This is not the first time lawmakers have come under fire for interfering with ICE. Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) was recently indicted for storming an ICE detention facility, escalating tensions between federal enforcement and progressive lawmakers.

With rising assaults on ICE agents (up 700%), Trump’s orders signal that the gloves are off.

Whether this intensifies the legal standoff between federal and state governments remains to be seen. But one thing is clear: the immigration debate just got even more explosive.
