Body Parts That You Will Notice Pain If Blood Sugar Level Is High

You may have noticed some pain in some parts of your body.

Despite the many medications prescribed to relieve you of the pain, it keeps coming back or refuses to go, and although it may be an indication of some medical problems that require an immediate medical checkup or test.

However, there are some regular pains that you will notice if your blood sugar level is high.

In this article, I want to briefly clarify about the parts of your body that you may notice pain when your blood sugar level is high.

1. Pain in your leg or feet

For some people with high blood sugar, who may not be aware of the condition, they may feel pain in their legs or the pain may be felt in their feet because the high blood sugar has been occurring for a long time and they don’t realize it.

If you observe or notice consistent, persistent pain that persists even after taking pain relief medications, you should see your doctor immediately for a medical checkup and appropriate treatment.

2. Pain in the hands

The presence of high blood sugar in some people’s bodies can be indicated by the presence of pain in the hands, which happens when the blood sugar content becomes so high that it affects the nerves in the hands and causes damage to them.

This damage is felt as a painful sensation in the hands. A prolonged buildup of blood sugar, even when the pain is more alarming and severe, defying some pain-relieving medications, can cause more serious diabetes when not treated and properly controlled in time.

Please, if you start to notice any pain in the above-mentioned body parts, or if you have someone who complains of such, it is important to go to a medical check immediately to find out the extent of the damage and receive proper treatment.
