I CAME HOME TO FIND MY KIDS OUTSIDE WITH PACKED BAGS — WHEN I FOUND OUT THE REASON, I SHOUTED, “GO INSIDE. NOW!”
I pulled into the driveway and immediately knew something was wrong… My two kids were sitting outside with packed suitcases! We had no trip planned. There was no reason they should be out there like that.
I jumped out of the car and ran over, panicked. My son looked at me, confused and nervous, and said, “But Mom, YOU TEXTED US. You told us to TAKE THE CASH from the drawer and pack everything…”
But I hadn’t texted them. I would never do that!
He reached for his phone to show me the message, and that’s when I heard another car pulling into our driveway.
