The adult entertainment industry and fans alike are grappling with the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Anna Beatriz Pereira Alves, known online as Anna Polly, who tragically died on January 23 in Nova Iguaçu, Rio de Janeiro. She was just 27 years old.

Anna reportedly fell from the eighth-floor balcony of a hotel where she had been filming adult content. Her body was found in the hotel courtyard, and graphic footage circulated online showed authorities responding to the scene. She had been staying at the aparthotel with at least two men, described as friends, who were reportedly also involved in creating adult content. Initial speculation pointed to a possible suicide, but as the investigation progressed, that theory was ruled out.

Authorities in Brazil have now confirmed that the circumstances surrounding Anna’s death remain unclear, and they are leaving no possibility off the table—including an accident or even foul play. Law enforcement is currently reviewing surveillance footage, conducting interviews, and analyzing her phone records to determine what exactly happened in the hours leading up to the fall. According to Brazilian media, the two men present gave inconsistent statements to police and admitted that they and Anna had consumed drugs and alcohol that day. They have since been released while the investigation continues.

“We are conducting a thorough investigation to clarify what happened. It’s a complex case, and we don’t rule out any possibility, from an accident to a possible crime,” a spokesperson from the Baixada Fluminense Homicide Unit stated.
Anna, who described herself online as “short, tattooed, and with silicone breasts,” had cultivated a large following across platforms like OnlyFans. However, her rising profile may have come at a cost. Reports from columnist Fabia Oliveira suggest that Anna had been facing significant pressure from fans to produce more explicit and daring content.
