Not long after the twins were born, Brad and Angelina made headlines again by selling their exclusive baby photos for a record-breaking $14 million! A source explained that People magazine and a British tabloid collaborated by getting joint rights to publish the pictures.

The twins’ names also sparked interest. Initially, some speculated the couple would choose Isla Marcheline and Amelie Jane, but instead, they picked deeply connected to their family heritage. Knox is a rarely used Scottish, English, and Irish surname.
It was also inspired by Brad’s grandfather’s middle name, Hal Knox Hillhouse.

Rather than giving their sons the same first initial, the couple chose names that share the ending letter “x.” Similarly, their middle names both include the letter “n,” establishing a thoughtful connection between the siblings.
Knox’s middle name, Léon, was inspired by Angelina’s great-great-grandfather, adding a significant familial tie to his full name.
On November 17, 2024, Angelina took Knox as her date to the Governors Awards and footage of the pair appeared in a Facebook clip. Seeing the post, one person “Wow! He is a handsome boy!!! I bet he’ll be modeling soon!!!”
