A 13-year-old boy stops a kidnapper with a $3 toy.

Owen was the first to act in this courageous tale. He had just returned home from school, eager to unwind and dive into some video games, a favorite pastime for him and many boys his age.

At the same time, his 8-year-old sister was enjoying herself in the garden, excitedly searching for mushrooms near the woods. What started as a fun day quickly turned dangerous when her screams pierced the air.

Initially, Owen thought his sister was just playing with friends, but her terrified cries filled him with concern. He was horrified to see a man trying to pull her into the woods through his bedroom window.
