Whoopi Stuns Co-Host With Probing Question Out of Nowhere: ‘You Can’t Say That!’

“The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg stunned one of her on-air colleagues with a highly personal question out of the blue during a show segment on Friday.

As the five-member panel was discussing an issue, Goldberg blurted out to co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin: “Are you pregnant?”

A visibly stunned Griffin immediately responded, “No!”

“Oh, my god!” the 34-year-old former Trump administration official further exclaimed with a laugh. “You can’t say that when my mother-in-law is here, who’s been dying for me to get pregnant!”

Co-host Joy Behar then asked Goldberg a question most everyone was likely thinking: “Why would you say that?”

The question literally came from nowhere since Goldberg, at the time, was having a discussion with co-host Sunny Hostin about Sen. Mitt Romney’s (R-Utah) decision not to run for reelection next year.

“Why – do I look pregnant?” Griffin asked, which led Goldberg to double down and say, “Yes, I just got a vibe. I’m so sorry.”

Griffin then said that she and her husband “are thinking about” having children but have not done so yet.

“I’m giving credit to my makeup artist for making my face look like it was glowing,” she added with a laugh during a post-show interview on “The View: Behind the Table” podcast.

Last week, the liberal co-hosts of “The View” were shredded online after claiming during a show that illegal immigrants being sent to New York City should be “resettled elsewhere.”

The remarks came after Democratic NYC Mayor Eric Adams gave a dire update on the situation after an influx of more than 110,000 migrants since last year, many of them having been bussed to the Big Apple from overwhelmed border states like Texas.

“Let me tell you something, New Yorkers. Never in my life have I had a problem that I did not see an ending to. I don’t see an ending to this. This issue will destroy New York City. Destroy New York City,” he said Wednesday during a town hall meeting on the Upper West Side. “We’re getting 10,000 migrants a month.”

“All of us are going to be impacted by this. I said it last year when we had 15,000, and I’m telling you now with 110,000. The city we knew, we’re about to lose, and we are all in this together, all of us,” he complained.

“I think New York is now getting a small taste of what border states have dealt with for decades,” The View co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said to begin the “Hot Topics” segment.

“This is not a federal problem. This is not an American problem. This is a regional problem. This is a world problem and I think it takes everybody sitting together, not being performative,” complained co-host Ana Navarro. “What is being performative? Sending busloads of migrants to Kamala Harris’ house or Martha’s Vineyard.”
