Even With 4 Paralyzed Legs,An Unwanted Pit Bull Kept His Fighting Spirit!

When Romeo was taken in by AMA Animal Rescue, he was completely paralyzed in all four legs, writes ilovemydogsomuch.

It is not known what happened to him that caused this while he was homeless, but the rescuers and veterinary staff knew they would do everything they could to help him.

Romeo quickly proved that his injuries had not broken his spirit

After weeks and weeks of physical therapy, Romeo miraculously started walking again and a month later he was already running!

But Romeo wasn’t out of the woods yet. The staff noticed that his eyes were still watery, and the vets diagnosed him with entropion, a condition where the eyelids are turned inward. Fortunately, he had a successful surgery and his eyes were back to normal.

Although Romeo is a very loving and affectionate dog, the shelter had a hard time finding him the perfect home. They received a few adoption applications, but many families reconsidered the idea of adopting him after learning about the unknowns related to Romeo’s past injuries.

After four months of waiting, Romeo’s prayers were finally answered. He has found a loving forever home!
