Brad Pitt allowed a 105-year-old neighbor live on his $40 million property rent free, according to Elvira!

Cassandra Peterson, “Elvira”, sold her home to Brad Pitt in 1994. She recently spoke to People about a surprising role that Pitt took on in addition to a new homeowner.

Brad Pitt, 54, purchased a 1.9-acre property in 1994 for $1.7 million from Elvira–Cassandra Peterson–and held onto the property for 30 years before parting with it this past March.

In a recent and exclusive interview with People, Peterson told the tale of her sale to the Academy Award Winner, including her vicinity to him and Pitt’s unexpected tenant.

According to the actress, Pitt’s expansion of the property is what led to the events that followed.

“I think there were like 22 houses houses that were contiguous to the edge of the property. And every time they came up he bought one,” the actress explained.
