The Today co-anchor and weatherman’s daughter Courtney Roker Laga, 36, and husband Wesley Laga welcomed their first child, Sky Clara Laga, Monday, July 3.

Al’s co-hosts shared the exciting news Tuesday morning.

The first-time grandpa or Pop-Pop as he’ll now be called, shared his daughter and family were doing well and that he “couldn’t be happier” about his grandchild’s arrival.

Al shared several photos of baby Sky on his Instagram Wednesday morning.

Courtney announced she was expecting her first child in March with a sweet announcement.

“A new adventure is about to begin ,” she captioned her Instagram video.

“We are extremely excited to welcome a new member into our family and start this next chapter in our lives,” she told Today at the time. “We feel truly blessed and excited for our little miracle.”

In June, Al joined family and friends to celebrate his daughter and son-in-law at a baby shower held on the couple’s second wedding anniversary.

“2 years ago today, these two tied the knot. Today we celebrated their about to be here baby girl. So excited.” the proud grandpa-to-be captioned a set of photos from the event.

Congratulations to the entire Roker family! A grandchild is such a beautiful addition.
