A Tribute from Denise Alexander

is with heavy hearts that we pay tribute to the late Jacklyn Zeman, who passed away suddenly on May 9 after a brief battle with cancer. Just three days after celebrating her 70th birthday and less than two weeks after her final episode of General Hospital aired on April 27, we bid farewell to a beloved friend and colleague.

Denise Alexander, who portrayed Dr. Lesley Webber on General Hospital, penned a heartfelt letter in remembrance of Zeman. She expressed her deep sorrow and shared cherished memories of their friendship. “Oh girl, I can’t stop crying because I keep hearing your voice and laughing. I have always loved and cherished your sweetness, humor, brilliance, and lovely goodness. The finest embraces, too. I will always love you,” Alexander wrote. These beautiful words were first shared with Soap Hub on May 15.
