Brother of suspected killer says authorities could have prevented horrific attack on Ukrainian refugee

The brother of the man charged with the murder of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska believes that this tragedy could have been prevented.

He now holds the authorities responsible for allowing his brother to remain at large prior to the horrific incident.

Iryna Zarutska escaped the war in Ukraine in search of safety in the United States.

However, her life was tragically ended when she was viciously stabbed while returning home from work — igniting increasing political outrage nationwide.
