The Timpanogos High School Choir was committed to providing their audience with a unique take on the William Tell Overture, a well-known classical composition. The choir began by singing the instrumental acapella.
However, the teenagers’ surprise wasn’t the only one.
One young woman remained in front of the audience while the other singers turned away. That was when everyone seated started laughing. However, as the troop started their antics, the audience was the target of the joke.
It was obvious that the mistake that led to the missed turn was staged to create a sense of surprise. The audience was laughing so hard they were rolling around in their seats.
The audience, obviously amused by what was taking place on stage, laughed aloud as the girls mimicked their counterparts.
Thus, the frivolity persisted all the way to the end. The thunderous applause made it obvious that this was a memorable classical performance.
Not using these young people in a reality TV show was a missed opportunity.
