4 Detox Drink Recipes to Cleanse the Liver…

The main role of the liver is to filter the blood: it cleans up the red blood cells, eliminates waste and helps us digest fats. The liver is also responsible for capturing toxins that end up in our body when we eat, smoke or take medication.

Cleansing his liver (we also say draining his liver) therefore helps him in his elimination function but it also gives him a little boost necessary to allow him to store vitamins (A, D, K, E) our body needs.

Let’s review natural and organic food-based juices to drink in the evening before bedtime.

1 – STRAWBERRY WATER

Prepare this delicious detox drink to cleanse the liver. Cut and mix 500 g of strawberries with 1.5 L of water in a bottle. Then, place the mixture in the refrigerator overnight, before consuming your drink. To eliminate toxins from the liver, it is necessary to promote the consumption of antioxidant nutrients such as vitamin C.

In fact, strawberries are rich in vitamin C which neutralizes free radicals and degrades toxic substances in the body. In addition, strawberries contain natural acids which help to lower blood sugar levels and detoxify the liver. .

2 – GINGER TEA

Ginger has been researched to prove its effectiveness for weight loss. In a randomized meta-analysis, it was established that this ingredient would significantly reduce body weight by promoting fat burning.

To prepare it, grate a ginger root that you put in a large glass, and add hot water. Leave to cool then add to the infusion the juice of half a lemon and a spoon of honey to soften the taste, if you feel the need.

3 – A DETOXIFYING APPLE CINNAMON DRINK

With a few pieces of pumps combined with 2 or 3 cinnamon sticks in water, you get a super effective detox solution. It burns calories but also helps break down and evacuate cholesterol crystals.

4 – DANDELION INFUSION

Its name evokes its diuretic action! Also called “dent-de-lion”, dandelion is a depurative and diuretic plant. It has a protective action on the liver as suggested by this study conducted on mice. It is also sometimes used as a laxative to relieve constipation.

How to prepare it: there are preparations on the market based on all parts of the plant, leaves and roots or roots only. The leaves are generally prepared infused for ten minutes in water and the roots in a decoction then in infusion.
