In response, Sanders argued that the contributions were made by employees rather than by pharmaceutical companies or political action committees (PACs), a claim that failed to persuade anyone.

SenateDems did not fail to meet expectations … they all behaved like overly dramatic individuals. @SenSanders, however, represented a unique case of such behavior … he became visibly embarrassed when confronted about his hypocrisy regarding Pharmaceutical donations, and he blatantly lied on National television when he refuted it.
