Texas Just Got Slammed With Another Flash Flood

The water is rising — fast. What started as a weather alert this morning has now turned into a full-blown flash flood warning across parts of Texas, especially Kerrville and Hunt.

At the center of concern? Camp Mystic, a beloved spot along the Guadalupe River. According to local authorities, water levels on both forks of the river are expected to surge by 3 to 6 feet within hours.

Photos and videos circulating online show anxious families evacuating, roads already covered in inches of water, and emergency sirens echoing through the valley. “We’ve seen this before, but not like this,” said one local resident who was forced to pack up and flee.

This is not the first time Camp Mystic has faced danger. Just last year, a similar flash flood struck the area, cutting off access to several cabins and leaving many stranded overnight. Now, with the threat repeating itself, officials are urging everyone near the river to get to higher ground — immediately
