In a moment that Congressman Chip Roy is calling nothing short of a miracle, a young girl has been found alive after floating on a mattress for over three hours during the devastating Texas Hill Country floods.
In a televised Fox News broadcast, Rep. Roy confirmed that the girl had been swept away by rising waters but managed to stay afloat long enough for rescuers to reach her safely.“Praise the Lord,” he said, describing the child’s survival as a blessing in the face of overwhelming tragedy. At least 27 people have lost their lives so far due to the flooding.
