TEEN IN BUSINESS CLASS THREW CHIPS AT ME WHILE HIS DAD LAUGHED — THEY NEVER EXPECTED TO REGRET IT SO FAST.
ME: “Hey! What do you think you’re doing? Calm down!”
TEEN (TAUNTING ME WHILE STILL HURLING CHIPS): “Calm down! Calm down!”
ME: “Excuse me, are you his father?”
FATHER (CHUCKLING): “Wait, wait, I gotta get this on video! Can you say ‘Calm down!’ one more time?”
They thought it was all fun and games, but karma doesn’t forget. About an hour after we got off the plane, I bumped into them again. Only this time, their smug grins disappeared, because now, they were staring at me as the person who ⤵️
…was handing them the keys to their luxury rental car.
