Phil Collins shares sad health news, says he can ‘barely hold’ a drumstick

Phil Collins, the legendary musician known for his work with Genesis and as a solo artist, has shared an alarming health update. At 71, he revealed to BBC that he can “barely hold a drumstick” due to physical challenges.

Collins, who became famous for hits like In the Air Tonight and You Can’t Hurry Love, now faces significant health issues after years of performing. His son, Nicholas, will handle the drumming during Genesis’ upcoming tour, as Collins can no longer manage the task himself.

Despite these challenges, Collins continues to remain a celebrated figure in the music industry, having sold over 100 million albums.

He also acknowledged that this could be his last tour. Although his health has impacted his ability to perform, his contributions to music remain legendary. Fans continue to support him as he navigates this phase of his life.
