Breaking: An update from Donald Trump’s former advisor 😮 See Here:

The prospect of a “Trump 2028” presidency might seem far-fetched to some, but Steve Bannon, the former White House Chief Strategist, insists it’s a genuine possibility. He envisions a future where Donald Trump might seek another term.

The U.S. Constitution’s 22nd Amendment clearly states that no one can serve more than two terms as president. Despite this apparent obstacle, Bannon suggests that Trump and his team are evaluating “many different alternatives” to make another bid for the Oval Office.

In a separate discussion with NewsNation, he reiterated his stance, saying: “We have many different alternatives to make sure President Trump is the President of the United States. And we will roll those out over time.”
These assertions came shortly after unofficial “Trump 2028” merchandise began to circulate, bearing slogans like “Rewrite the Rules.” This phrase could hint at the possibility of challenging or circumventing the 22nd Amendment, which was adopted back in 1951 following Franklin D. Roosevelt’s unprecedented four terms.

Legal specialists emphasize that a third term remains constitutionally prohibited. Legal scholar Danny Karon has outlined three potential workarounds: Trump could seek the vice presidency under a supporter like JD Vance, assume the vice presidency and proceed via succession, or attempt a constitutional amendment. However, each option faces significant legal and political hurdles.
As for Trump himself, he hasn’t dismissed these ideas outright. In a 2024 interview with TIME, he acknowledged the discussion of “loopholes,” though he admitted, “I don’t believe in using loopholes.”
He also mentioned in an earlier interview with NBC that he wasn’t “joking” about a third-term possibility, claiming, “A lot of people want me to do it.”
