The 14-year-olds became Britain’s youngest parents

April Webster and Nathan Fishbourne made headlines in 2010 as the youngest parents in the UK, both just 14 years old when their son, Jamie, was born. April became pregnant at 13, and despite the shock and initial concerns, both families supported the young parents. Jamie had a difficult start due to a health issue but recovered after surgery.

In the following years, April and Nathan’s relationship became strained, and by 2014, they had separated. April, who did not finish her GCSEs, focused on raising Jamie, with support from her family.

Today, April, now 28, has three children and is happily dating Jake Jones. Nathan, engaged to Samantha, has also built a family. Both April and Nathan have moved forward in life, showing resilience in the face of early challenges. Their story highlights the challenges and growth that can follow teenage parenthood.
