President Donald Trump announced that he was making beloved, conservative Fox News Channel host Judge Jeanine Pirro the interim US Attorney for D.C

Announcing as much in an early evening post on his Truth Social social media platform on Thursday, May 8, President Trump explained that Pirro is qualified for the position and will be a valuable fighter against crime,

as shown by her past work as a prosecutor. He also noted that she is a contributor on FNC’s “The Five,” where she frequently burnished her conservative credentials by clashing with Jessica Tarlov.
