Libs of TikTok made a stunning discovery that could lead to New York Attorney General Letitia James facing charges for her failure to comply with Trump’s executive orders banning transgender surgeries for minors. Despite Trump’s decisive action to end these surgeries, Letitia James still informs minors that they have the right to elective transgender surgeries.
For context, Letitia James is a hardcore LGBTQ radical, and has warned hospitals in her state that pausing “gender-affirming” care due to Trump’s EO could violate New York’s anti-discrimination laws. Other states have halted these surgeries to comply with the president’s far-sighted EO, but New York has consistently refused.
This conflict was exemplified in Libs of TikTok’s post, which she made on March 26, 2025. She said, “NY Attorney Letitia James has a guide on her website dedicated to helping minors receive cross-s*x hormones and genital mutilations. This violates Trump’s EO, which banned funding for harmful transgender surgeries for minors.”
In the comments under this post, users chimed in to decry Letitia James’ possibly illegal actions. Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) said, “This is child abuse.” Another commentator added, “This is sick, 🤮 I don’t see the word parent in any of the bullet points, especially the third one. Letitia James at work mutilating our children.” One of the replies read, “If she is direction minors to do anything behind the parents back, she should be charged.”
Libs of TikTok linked to Letitia James’ official website to support her claims. On that page, the woke AG says, “Your rights under New York law: Receive the treatment you want – including if you are younger than 18. In New York, you have the right to receive treatment without discrimination regardless of your sex, gender identity, gender expression, transgender status, diagnosis of gender dysphoria, or intersex status.”
One of the pages provided instructions for children under 16 to receive these destructive surgeries. James continued, “If you are under 16, a medical professional must provide documentation that it is medically necessary, that you are eligible for the treatment, and that you have fulfilled other requirements, such as proof you understand the outcomes, benefits, and risks of beginning hormone therapy and that you have the necessary psychological and social supports and your health insurance company’s prior approval.”
However, these statements from the woke AG may be illegal in light of Trump’s executive order titled, “PROTECTING CHILDREN FROM CHEMICAL AND SURGICAL MUTILATION.” In this order, the president explains the scope of the issue by writing, “Across the country today, medical professionals are maiming and sterilizing a growing number of impressionable children under the radical and false claim that adults can change a child’s sex through a series of irreversible medical interventions. This dangerous trend will be a stain on our Nation’s history, and it must end.”
Trump made it clear that these barbaric surgeries are banned. He concluded, “Accordingly, it is the policy of the United States that it will not fund, sponsor, promote, assist, or support the so-called “transition” of a child from one sex to another, and it will rigorously enforce all laws that prohibit or limit these destructive and life-altering procedures.”
