A passenger’s gruesome act while on board a plane has been revealed, with fellow flyers left in shock by what they witnessed.

A female passenger on board a Southwest Airlines flight from Philadelphia to Chicago allegedly stripped down naked and defecated on her seat as the plane landed.

According to the airline. who confirmed the incident, the horror incident on board Flight 418 resulted in police being called and medical personnel for “a situation involving a customer.”

In a statement, Southwest said the aircraft had to be taken out of rotation as a result and deep cleaned.

“Our Teams are reaching out to those on-board to apologise for the situation and any delays to their travel plans,’ the airline said in a statement, as reported by NBC Chicago.

“Nothing is more important to Southwest than the safety of our customers and employees, and we appreciate the professionalism of our flight crew.”

he horrific incident comes just days after a Delta passenger had to use emergency slides at Orlando International Airport after the aircraft carrying 200 people caught fire.

In footage that went viral on social media, the Airbus A330 plane had just departed its gate to fly to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport from Orlando International Airport when a fire was reported in one of the two engines.
In footage filmed from the ground, a ball of flames was seen coming out of the right engine from passengers in the terminal.
