My Mother Hated Me

All my life, I felt like an outsider in my own family. My mother adored my sisters, Kira and Alexa, but treated me like a burden, especially because I resembled the man she wanted to forget—my biological father. While my sisters got affection and attention,

I was stuck cleaning and doing chores with little care from my mother. My father, though kind, gradually withdrew as their arguments escalated, especially after my mother insisted I wasn’t his daughter. At fourteen, I got a DNA test, and when the truth came out—that my father wasn’t my biological dad and my mother had cheated—it shattered our family.

My father left, divorcing my mother and distancing himself from me and my sisters. My mother’s hatred for me grew, and I became a servant in my own home. After high school, I moved out and started a new life, but my family never stopped demanding from me. Eventually, I pressured my mother into revealing my biological father’s name, and after tracking him down, I discovered he had wanted to be part of my life all along. Rick welcomed me into his family,

and for the first time, I felt loved and accepted. He even gave me a house, a place where I finally felt safe. But my mother and Kira, still full of resentment, tried to move in with me after being evicted. I stood my ground and forced them to leave. That was the last straw.I changed the locks, blocked their numbers, and cut them out of my life. For the first time, I felt free, knowing that I didn’t have to live under their control or manipulation anymore.
