Kamala Harris was totally taken aback by the results and spoke out for the first time in months…

Kamala Harris was reportedly ‘extremely startled’ after losing to Donald Trump in the 2024 US presidential campaign in November.

The former vice president was confirmed as the Democratic presidential contender just a few months before the election, when then-President Joe Biden withdrew.

Trump finally defeated Harris for the keys to the White House, and the Democrat lawmaker has remained in the background ever since.

To have the bravery to say I am afraid, to say what is occurring is wrong, and to declare that there is a path we must take to get through this.

Understanding our power in democracy, which we still have if we maintain it. “Courage is contagious.”

Amie Parnes, a Hill journalist and co-author of FIGHT: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House, a book on the 2024 race, has stated that Harris’ team was left shocked’ by the findings.

“She was completely shocked, and Tim Walz was shocked,” Parnes said on the Somebody’s Gotta Win with Tara Palmer podcast.

Parnes said, “They felt they were going to win. Therefore, when they return and realize, “Oh no, we didn’t really have a chance,” No, that is not what they were thinking. They believed they were going to win.

Kamala Harris looked at her audience size, and they sensed a strong energy, and people were saying, ‘Oh, we have more boots on the ground. We’re doing better with funding.

“And she purchased all of that. She bought the hype, as did many others in the campaign.

According to Jonathan Allen, who co-wrote the book with Parnes, Barack Obama was originally hesitant to support Harris as the Democratic nominee because he did not believe she had the potential to defeat Trump.

“He didn’t think that she was the best choice for Democrats, and he worked really behind the scenes for a long time to try to have a mini-primary, or an open convention, or a mini-primary leading to an open convention, and did not have faith in her ability to win the election,” the writer said on MSNBC earlier this year.
