Even after ten years, Maxim still could not come to terms with the loss of his beloved. One day, returning from a business trip, he noticed a girl by the roadside selling clothes. Among the myriad of items, his gaze was caught by a familiar coat – one of those that Valya had once crafted.

He had no room for error, and the possibility that it was just a similar piece of clothing was virtually nil. Max felt his limbs tremble with betrayal. He was lost in speculation about what to do next, unable to figure out how to act properly so as not to miss the chance to learn even a little about Valentina. His conviction that these items belonged to her was unwavering.

Max slowly approached the girl. When she turned around, her eyes reminded him of Valya’s – as if a blade had pierced his heart. Swallowing the sudden lump in his throat, he said:

— Yes, these items are of high quality, — replied the young interlocutor. — They were created by my mother, practically new.

— I’ll buy everything in its entirety.
