Hollywood is in mourning following the death of actress and model Cindyana Santangelo, who gained fame for her portrayal of Sierra Madre on Married… With Children. The 58-year-old star died after being transported to the hospital from her residence in Malibu on March 24.

While authorities do not suspect foul play, homicide detectives are involved in the investigation due to the circumstances surrounding her death. Santangelo had recently undergone cosmetic procedures, although it remains uncertain whether they played a role in her demise.

A gifted performer, Santangelo began her career as a dancer and rose to prominence as a music video star in the 1980s, featuring in three top-10 MTV videos simultaneously.

She is particularly remembered for her role as Sierra Madre in the 1996 episode titled The Agony and the Extra C of Married… With Children. Additionally, Santangelo appeared in films such as Hollywood Homicide and made guest appearances on television series including CSI: Miami, Law & Order, and ER.
