Scarlett Johansson’s upcoming guest-hosting stint on Today with Jenna & Friends has sparked mixed reactions online, marking an unexpected career turn for the acclaimed actress.

Best known for her performances in Black Widow and Marriage Story, Johansson will join Jenna Bush Hager on January 21. Bush Hager described Johansson’s involvement as a “wild dream,” reflecting the show’s increasing popularity.

“This is Scarlett’s first time hosting a daytime program,” Bush Hager noted, expressing excitement about the collaboration. The 43-year-old host praised Johansson as “the queen,” sharing her admiration for the star’s films like The Girl with a Pearl Earring. Bush Hager added, “I’ve been obsessed with her movies forever. She’s also a big reader, so we’ll have so much in common.”
