Celebrity line-up for Donald Trump’s inauguration revealed

Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 47th President of the United States will take place on January 20, 2025, at the US Capitol. The festivities begin the weekend before, with a fireworks display at Trump National Golf Club in Virginia, a campaign-style rally in D.C., and a visit to Arlington National Cemetery. Joe Biden is expected to attend the ceremony.

The inaugural committee, co-chaired by Steve Witkoff and Kelly Loeffler, emphasized unity and the “America First agenda,” stating, “The 2025 inaugural celebrations will reflect President-elect Trump’s historic return to the White House and the American people’s decisive vote to Make America Great Again.”

Performances will include Lee Greenwood and Christopher Macchio, two of Trump’s favorites. Carrie Underwood will sing “America the Beautiful” before Trump takes the oath, saying, “I am honored to be a small part of this historic event.” However, her participation sparked backlash online, with critics accusing her of compromising principles.

Trump’s first day in office will start with a National Prayer Service, featuring an invocation by Franklin Graham and Cardinal Timothy Dolan. Macchio will conclude the program by singing the National Anthem. The event reflects Trump’s effort to celebrate his return to the presidency with an emphasis on patriotism and unity.
