The new generation may not be able to walk in the boots of our icons, but we’ve got to hold on to the essence of what made country music great: storytelling, raw emotion, and authenticity. Artists like Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, and even Mo Pitney are trying to bring that soul back, and while they might not fill the shoes of our heroes, they’re carrying the torch in their own way.
