Today during lunch, I noticed one of my coworkers (a bearded man in his 40s) watching “Paw Patrol” on his tablet. It was… quite a contrast to his rugged appearance and age.

I decided to ask him:
— “So, do you like it?”
He grimaced and said, “Eh, not really.” But he kept watching intently.
— “Then why are you watching it?”
— “It’s for my daughter…”
— ???
— “She’s seven. She’s been blind since birth.”

Turns out, he watches Paw Patrol and then retells every episode to his daughter every evening as bedtime stories, in his own words. He’s already gone through “SpongeBob” and several other cartoons this way.

He tried playing her audiobooks, but she prefers when Dad tells her the stories himself.

There were tears in our eyes by the end of the conversation. A father’s love truly knows no limits.💙🐾✨
