I’m 75 years old and I love wearing red lipstick. I have been doing that for years and now I am being accused for it. Come on now… it’s unfair Yesterday, I was getting ready for a family dinner, and my son saw me applying my favorite red shade. He sneered and said, “Mom, you look like a desperate old clown trying to cling to your youth. It’s embarrassing, you don’t have to do it.” He said with a laughing face, like it was a joke. BUT HE MEANT IT. And then his wife with the ugliest smile ever looking at me and says: “Oh I agree with Steph, red lipstick is not for older people. I think you should stick to what other people are doing” Right in that moment I said to her: “HONEY WHY DON’T YOU MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS” You should have seen her face, she was taken aback. She didn’t expect this and just smiled and looked away. “Sorry Edith, we just don’t want you to look like clown” IMAGINE THE AUDACITY My son was confused but then added: “Ok mom enjoy the circus” while his wife gave another laugh saying come on Steph let’s not miss the circus. And they both laughed. How do you think this made me feel? At first for about 10 minutes I was hurt and in the corner alone and sad. But then the sadness turned into RAGE… YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHAT I DID TO BOTH OF THEM. Hear this just a week later
