Rising Country Star Stops Concert To Thank Vietnam Veteran

Rising country artist Jelly Roll took that stage at a concert recently and took a break from the music to shout out to the many veterans of the Vietnam War and thank them for their service and the risk that they took to defend America. The singer decided to do this after seeing a Vietnam veteran in the crowd during his recent Las Vegas concert.

Jelly Roll has been a breakout sensation this year with his hit song “Son of a Sinner,” moving fans and catapulting him to fame in the county music genre. Now, after appearances on huge shows like the Joe Rogan Experiences and a nationwide concert slate, Jelly Roll remains thankful for those who won his freedom.

At the concert, Jelly said, “This gentleman right here has got a Vietnam veteran hat on. He has been standing right here and rocking with me all night long. I just want to tell you how much I appreciate you and your service sir. Thank you so much.”

The gratitude didn’t stop there. Jelly Roll made sure that the veteran would never have to spend another penny to see one of his concerts in the future. He said, “I promise you this, you’ll never buy another ticket to my show, I’m gonna get my people with you. You’re welcome forever, thank you,”

Jelly Roll also used a recent concert as an opportunity to tell fans about God and to encourage them never to quit trying to improve their lives. Jelly Roll came from a broken home and would later become a felon before finding his voice and turning his life around through music.

He said, “It’ll be the second most important thing I’ll say all night actually. Because somebody said this to me once, and when they told me this, I believed them. And it changed my entire life. If you are one of the people in this crowd tonight that is going through something, or you have been through something.”

He continued, “I want to tell you to just keep f***ing going. I want you to go and I want you to go. I want you to put one foot in front of the other, I want you to march forward with your f***ing head up. That’s what I want you to do.”

Finishing the inspirational message, he said, “I just want you to keep going. I promise you, I promise you! That the windshield is bigger than the rearview for a reason, because what’s in front of you is so much more important that what the f*** is behind you.”

Jelly Roll has become an unexpected good influence on his millions of fans and those who have spent money to go to his concerts. he insists on not only leaving fans with a memory of good music and dancing but also with a lesson that can propel them to do great things in life.
