Darren Kent cause of death: What did the Game of Thrones actor die of at 36?
Sad news for fans of the famous television series Game of Thrones, as actor Darren Kent has died at the age of 36.
He was best known for his role as Goatherd in Game of Thrones. The actor was diagnosed with osteoporosis and arthritis a few years ago.
The news was confirmed by his agency, Carey Dodd Associates, in a statement on Tuesday: “It is with deep sadness that we have to share with you that our dear friend and client Darren Kent passed away peacefully on Friday. His parents and best friend were by his side. Our thoughts and love are with his family at this difficult time”.
They added on Instagram: “It is with deep sadness we have to tell you that our dear friend and client Darren Kent passed away peacefully on Friday. His parents and best friend by his side. Our thoughts and love are with his family in this difficult time. RIP my friend.”
The cause of death is still unknown.
His work in Game of Thrones
It was in 2014 when he made his first appearance in the series, although he had previously participated in ‘Shameless’, which was his debut.
Other films he appeared in were the 2008 Kiefer Sutherland horror film ‘Mirrors’ and 2012’s ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’.
And in 2023, he participated in ‘Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves’, having six productions in development, including several short films and the feature film ‘What I Know’.
