Never combine tomatoes and cucumbers in a salad…

Because they are nutrient-dense, natural fruits and vegetables should be ingested, but you may not be aware that some of them shouldn’t be mixed. Consider the examples of tomatoes and cucumbers.
Both tomatoes and cucumbers are good for our health. They both include large amounts of water, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. However, you shouldn’t employ both at once! According to Ayurveda, we must be aware of an ingredient’s specific digestion time before selecting it for a salad.

It’s not a good idea to combine veggies with different digestion rates since the lighter item will wind up passing through the colon just as the heavier one is completed digesting. Food will ferment as a result, perhaps polluting the rest of the body, in the stomach. Additionally, it will delay the fermentation and digestion of carbohydrates and starches, which will prevent you from fully appreciating your meal. The fermentation process might result in gas, bloating, and stomach pain, which only serves to exacerbate the situation.
Tomatoes and cucumbers aren’t the only meal combinations you shouldn’t ever try. Let’s look at this:

Fruits shouldn’t be eaten after a meal since they take a while to digest and shouldn’t be retained in the stomach for too long. If you consume them immediately following a meal, you are more likely to have acid reflux and other digestive issues.

Meat and cheese: Try to keep your protein intake under control and restrict it to one type of protein every meal.
Even though they are popular, macaroni and cheese and macaroni and meat shouldn’t be paired since they are high in carbohydrates, which digest more slowly than proteins and might cause fermentation and other digestive problems.
Cheese and veggies together only increases the likelihood of bloating.
Due to the high acidity needed to digest orange juice, consuming it with bread or noodles may harm the enzyme that breaks down starch.
Melon and watermelon should only be eaten by itself; they shouldn’t be combined with other fruits.
Milk and bananas are a well-known meal combination that delays digestion.
Despite being a common breakfast combination, fruits and yogurt slow down digestion and harm the intestinal flora.
