Anyone who still uses aluminum foil should read this.!

The Amount of Aluminum in Food May Increase When Cooking with Aluminum Foil Using aluminum foil when cooking may result in meals containing more aluminum. This is because the food you are cooking and the foil come into close contact, and heat can cause the chemicals in the foil to leak into your meal. The amount of aluminum transmitted depends on the cooking time, temperature, and amount of liquid (liquid helps move chemicals). Since acids also accelerate transfer, using ingredients like lemon juice during cooking may also increase the amount of aluminum already present in the dish.
Is There Really a Risk Here?
If you perform a fast web search for “aluminum,” you will find a ton of articles that claim that metal contamination of food is significant and dangerous. They claim that this may lead to a number of illnesses, including cancer and Alzheimer’s disease.

But a great deal of evidence shows that these claims are false. One study found that those who consumed certain diets were more likely to have high amounts of aluminum in their systems, but there was no link between this and any health problems. Another research found no connection between dementia and increased amounts of aluminum in brain tissue compared to people without dementia. Although aluminum has been linked to dementia, impaired cognitive function, and lung irritation, daily, routine exposure has never been the root cause of these consequences. To consume the required quantity of aluminum, you would have to consume far more food than you can now consume.
